| Theme Criteria The theme of the parade is Kirkland American 4th of July. Get with your group and brainstorm or hit the internet for ideas! |
| Children's Parade Decorating of Kid's bikes, hat making and face painting begins at 10:00 AM at the Marina Park Pavilion. Kids Parade begins at 11:30 AM. Pets are welcome and encouraged. Children will start and finish at Marina Park. |
| Community Parade This is the 13th Anniversary of our Community Parade. Neighborhoods and businesses compete and judges choose which entry best follows the theme. The parade starts at Noon at Market and Central Way and the route can be viewed above. The grandstand is located at the intersection of Lake and Central. |
| Parade Notes: Due to liability and safety concerns, NO CANDY IS TO BE THROWN INTO THE CROWD! If your group is planning to dispense candy or other items, please have "walkers" passing out items on the sidelines. Please help keep our parade safe!! Merchants, particularly restaurants, be prepared! THIS COULD BE A HUGE DAY FOR YOU. Boaters please Note: The boat launch and launch parking will be CLOSED FROM 10:00 AM UNTIL 1:30 PM WHEN THE PARADE ENDS. |
